Denis Monaghan
MONAGHAN, Denis – after a brief battle with cancer, passed peacefully, surrounded by family on October 20th in North Bay. He was 78 years old. Denis was pre-deceased by his wife Susan in 1999. He will be lovingly remembered by his 3 children Timothy(Dagmar) of Toronto, Karen (James) McCulley of Rutherglen & Heather Smithers (pre-deceased by Garry) of North Bay. Denis leaves behind his grandchildren- Tyler (Andrea) Horton, Nathan (Sehar) Horton all of Ottawa, Zachary(Bri) Smithers, Iain (Leah) McCulley all of North Bay and Regan (Paul) McCulley of Ottawa along with his great grand-daughter Ziya McCulley Ifil. He was the dear brother of John (Norma) of Whitby/Brighton, David(Lilly) of Fenlon Falls, Derek of Bobcaygeon, Jean Steele (pre-deceased by Reg) of Cameron, Ethel (Tony) Pinfold of Lindsay & Shiela ( Gilles) Audette of New Castle. He will be sadly missed by family and old friends- especially Amy Petton and her family. Friends and family are invited to call STODDART FUNERAL HOME & CREMATION CENTRE, 24 Mill Street, Lindsay K9V 2L1 (705-324-3205) on Saturday, October 27th. Visitation from 12 – 1 pm. Service to follow at 1 pm. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Cancer Society and would be greatfully appreciated by the family.
