Della Rose Whalen

WHALEN, Della Rose, age 77 years of Eastern Passage passed peacefully on August 11, 2018 at the Dartmouth General Hospital. Born in East Chezzetcook, she was a daughter of the late Margaret and Richard Malcolm (stepfather Clyde Peach). She is survived by her three children, James (Donna) Summerside PE, Margaret Edmonton AL, Eileen (John) Dartmouth NS, grandchildren Cynthia, John Douglas, James Bradley, Amanda, Barry James and Nichole; great grandchild Sahara. Della is survived by her siblings Rosemary (Charles) Walker, Joseph (Sylvia), Thom (Kim) Peach, Verna Corbisier. She was predeceased by her loving husband (James) of 51 years, siblings Gerald, Donna Martin, and William (Bill). Cremation has taken place. The funeral service will take place on Friday 17 August 11am at St Andrews Roman Catholic Church, Eastern Passage. Burial at St.Andrews Cemetery. Reception to follow at Lions Club, Horns Road.
