OBITUARY
Deborah Rose Robertson
September 3, 1954 – March 19, 2018
Deborah Rose Robertson passed away on Monday March 19, 2018 at the age of 63.
Born in Hamilton, Ontario, she was a long time resident of Toronto, a city she loved. A true cosmopolitan Torontonian, she loved the museums, the theatre, the ballet, everything Toronto. Deborah studied Fashion Design at George Brown College and became a talented seamstress and a master stitcher. She was a proud member of the Toronto Stitch Guild and an avid Doll Collector. She travelled to many doll shows across North America, sharing her passion with her local Doll Group. Her other passions included her beloved cats and travel. Travel took her across many oceans, most recently to her favourite place – Australia. As in all things, Deborah loved without limits. She cherished and was cherished by her brother Paul Robertson, her nephews Michael and Aaron (Shannon), her great-nephews Alexander and Linkyn and great-nieces Natalia and Ti’enteigh, her dear friends Bernadette and Kathy, and many more friends and extended family members. Deborah was predeceased by her parents Les and Shirley Robertson, and Vivian Robertson her sister-in-law. As per her wishes, cremation has taken place and a memorial service will be held at a later date in Toronto. A special thanks to the nurses and doctors of 17B at the Princess Margaret Cancer Center. In lieu of flowers, donations in Deborah’s memory may be directed to the charity of your choice.
