Snow, Deborah Gail-Dartmouth- – Heaven gained another angel as she passed away peacefully surrounded by her daughters and close friends on Tuesday April 10th in Dartmouth General Hospital at the age of 62. Born on April 17, 1955 in Sydney, she was the youngest daughter of the late Stephen and Rita (Mugford) Snow. She was a woman of great faith and a true warrior for Christ. A committed member of her church family at New Beginnings Ministries, her vibrant, colorful and kind spirit touched everyone she met. Strangers quickly became good friends, she always had time to lend an ear and help others in any way she could. Over the years she was a strong voice for people living in poverty and sat on several boards in her Dartmouth community. She could always be seen walking her dog around town befriending everyone she met. Her favorite spot during the warmer months was in her healing garden oasis with friends. A true champion for medical cannabis, she believed in its healing powers and could be seen at many public events with her “Cannabis Cures Cancer” sign. She is survived by her daughters Melanie and Allison (Kevin), seven grandchildren, her sisters Charmaine (Tommy) Stevens and Marilyn (Junior) Graham, as well as many nieces and nephews, especially her niece Donna, whom she always saw as more of a sister, and of course her faithful canine companion of 15 years, Saviour. She is predeceased by her sister Jean (Butch) MacAskill. Cremation has taken place under the direction of Dartmouth Funeral Home. A celebration of life will be held Saturday April 14th at 3p.m. , at New Beginnings Ministries at 26 Cherry Brook Rd. Officiating Rev. Kirby Spivey III and Minister Matthew Thomas. No flowers please.
