Dear, Robert Barry. Passed away peacefully, Sunday December 9, 2018 in his 83rd year at Grandview Lodge, Dunnville.
Barry Dear beloved husband of the late Lenore and Mary. Survived by his loving children Pam Wood (Paul), Cindy Murphy (Kevin), Tod Dear (Cindy), and Michele Minor (Tom). Special GG to Stacey Birdsell (John), Jennifer Hajak (Matthew), Scott Murphy (Jocelyn), Ryan Dear (MacKenzie), Jay Dear (Devin), Brandon Dear (Michaela), Lynsey Schmidt (Zack), Daniel Minor (Hailey). Great Grandpa to Teagan, Callum, Harper, Ainsley and Jack. Fondly remembered by his siter Joyce Crawford and his late wife Mary’s children Jennifer Hall (Dave), Leslie Hickey (John) and their families. Sadly missed by his many nieces, nephews and their families and Carlee, Travis and Brenya Green. Predeceased by his parents Wilfred and Gladys Dear and by his grandson Barry Wood.
Barry was a life long resident of Dunnville and impacted the lives of many. He was a respected coach, teacher and principal who taught others the value of good sportsmanship, leadership and friendship.
Visitation at JW Hart Funeral Home, Dunnville on Wednesday from 3-5 & 7-9 pm. Funeral service will be held in the Chapel on Thursday December 13, 2018 at 11:00 am. Interment Woodlawn Cemetery.
