Obituary of Deanna Ross
ROSS, Deanna Marie (nee Kondrat)
Deanna passed away suddenly at home on Friday morning, August 24, 2018 in her 75th year. Deanna had a generous heart, a beautiful smile and heart-warming laugh. She loved her family very much and appreciated the time she spent being around them. She had a special twinkle in her eye when talking about them. She was always interested in their lives. She was known for the love she had for her pet dog and singing canaries, she also liked her rose gardens. She always made sure you knew how important you were and thought of by the special cards she sent or during phone conversations. Reunited with her true love, she was inseparable from her husband of 57 years, Bill Ross (predeceased), who passed away very recently. She was a loving, caring and supportive mother to Pam (Bruce Matys), Lynn (Bill Gowans), and Billy (Marysol Casado). She was loved by all her grandchildren and great-grandchildren; Jennifer (Jim Degrow), Bryan, Christopher (Stacey Grice), Sarah, Steven, Daniel, Lilly, Devin, Ella, Zoey and Alexzander. She leaves behind her sisters Irene (Paul Clappison), Loretta Swick, and Joanne (Bill Judd). Predeceased by her brother Stan Kondrat. A Funeral Mass will take place on Wednesday, August 29, 2018 at 11:00 a.m. at Our Lady of the Assumption Parish, 63 Highway 20 East, Stoney Creek. A private family interment will follow. In lieu of flowers, donations to “The Heart & Stoke Foundation of Canada” would be much appreciated.
