Daxon Rene Dorey-Lemire
It is with heartfelt sympathy the family of Daxon Rene Dorey-Lemire, age 2, of Auburn, Nova Scotia, announces the passing of a beloved son at the Valley Regional Hospital, Kentville, NS. on 25 September 2018
Born in Kentville, NS, he was the son of Melanie Lemire and Jeremy Dorey.
During his short stay on earth, Daxon had many loves. He loved spending time at the campfire, collecting all cardboard to take to the firepit. He loved puppy dogs to play with and cuddle. Eating watermelon and watching Puppy Dog Pals was the highlight of his mornings. But most of all he loved to spend time with his family and the ones who loved him.
Survived by his mother Melanie Lemire, Auburn, NS, his father, Jeremy Dorey, Waterville, NS; grandpearents, Daniel and Cheryl (Harrison) Lemire, Auburn, NS; Grandmother, Wendy Dorey (Mike Roberts) Burlington, NS; great-grandmother; Carol (Harrison) McIvor, Berwick, NS; great-grandparents, Ed and Marion Dorey, Cambridge, NS; step-brother, Dane (son to Jeremy); aunts and uncles, Tiffany Lemire, Auburn, nS, John Dorey,(Ami Graves) and son, Jacob, Katherine Dorey (Patrick Morine, step-daughter, Isebella); great- aunts and uncles, Denise
(Harrison) and Skip Stewart, Berwick, NS, Derrick Harrison and Terri Gillum, Lincoln, NS, Dougie Harrison, Moncton, NB, Large Lemire family from Shawinigan and Trois Rivieres, QC; several great, great aunts and uncles, cousins,
extended aunts and uncles and summer family.
Predeceased by his great-grandfather, Douglas Larry Harrison Sr, Picton, Ontario; uncle Andrew Barkhouse, a brother to Jeremy; great grandfather, Rene-Paul Lemire, Quebec; great grandmother, Therese Lemire, Quebec.
As requested by the family, there will be no visitation. Memorial Service will be held Tuesday October 2, 2018 at 1:30 PM at Atlantic Funeral Home 125 Sackville Drive, Lr Sackville. Interment to follow in Oakridge Memorial Gardens.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the IWK, SPCA or charity of choice.
