Suddenly at home on Monday, May 21, 2018 David Longfield in his 82nd year. Beloved husband of 56 years of Kathleen (nee Taylor) Longfield. Loved father of Bradley and his wife Lesley Longfield and Dawn Longfield. Cherished grandpa of Lynsey and Taylor. Dear brother of Kathleen (late Howard) Row. Uncle Dave will be fondly remembered by his nieces and nephews. Dave worked in radio for 59 years, belonged to the Odd Fellows for over 40 years, sang in the London Men of Accord (Barbershop Harmony), was an avid supporter of the London Knights and a race car enthusiast. Visitors will be received at John T. Donohue Funeral Home, 362 Waterloo Street at King Street, on Wednesday, May 23rd from 2-4 and 6-8:30. An Odd Fellow and Rebekah funeral service will be held on Wednesday evening at 6 o’clock. A funeral service will be held in the funeral home on Thursday morning, May 24th at 11 o’clock. Private interment in St. Thomas Cemetery. Donations to a charity of your choice would be appreciated.
