It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Dave on Friday, July 20, 2018 at 71 years of age.
Dave passed the same way he chose to live his life, surrounded by music, laughter, loved ones and shared memories. Dave loved life and was loved by everyone in his life. He will be dearly missed.
He was predeceased by his parents Earle and Emma Stevenson; and Diane’s parents Walter and Marion Field.
Dave leaves to cherish his memory his loving wife of 47 years, Diane; children Rob (Laura), Alyssa (Joe) and Andrea; grandchildren Alex, Zoe, Lucy and Benjamin; siblings Billy Stevenson, Diane Handley and Alban Puscas; in-laws Gary (Ina) and Lenore (Gary); wonderful nieces, nephews and family members; as well as many dear friends.
Dave was an avid reader, Roughrider and New York Rangers fan.
Dave worked for Canada Post for 35 years retiring in 2002. He was very proud of his Scottish heritage and especially enjoyed his European vacations.
A VISITATION will be held at Regina Funeral Home, 4001 East Victoria Avenue, Regina, SK on Thursday, July 26, 2017 at 7:00 p.m.
A FUNERAL SERVICE CELEBRATING DAVE’S LIFE will be held at St. Matthew’s Anglican Church, 2161 Winnipeg Street, Regina, SK on Friday, July 27, 2018 at 3:00 p.m.
A Private Family Interment will be held.
In lieu of flowers, donations in memory of David may be made to St. Matthew’s Anglican Church Restoration Fund.
The family would like to thank all those involved in Dave’s medical care.
