OBITUARY
David Johnson Mayen
It is with great sadness that the family of David announces his unexpected passing on June 20, 2018.
David was an adventurer who wanted to see the world and discover its secrets. He loved computer science and video games. He served in the Canadian military from 2009-2013. He was selfless and would give a stranger the shirt off his back if necessary. He did not believe that material things made for a happy life, a lesson his family members vow to live by. David will be lovingly remembered by his parents (Monique Akec Alier and Johnson Mayen Agau) and his siblings Kuot Deng Mayen, Martha Anai Mayen, Mary Yar Mayen, Joshua Alier Mayen, and Isaiah Mayen. He will also be missed by family members all over the world especially back home in South Sudan.
Funeral Service will be held on Sunday September 2, 2018 at 3:00 pm at Calvary Temple 440 Hargrave Street Winnipeg, Manitoba.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to a charity of one’s choice.
