David James Tilley October 27, 1971 – June 9, 2018 It is with heavy hearts we announce the sudden death of David, our beloved husband, son, brother and uncle, following a tragic car accident in Victoria B.C. David is survived by Justine, his loving wife of 18 years, parents Ruth and Bruce Tilley, brother John (Nancy) and their son Stephen, brothers in-law Duncan O’Mahony (Shandalin) and their son Cormac, Quentin O’Mahony (Kaoru) and their sons Brendan and Lliam, and mother in-law Olive O’Mahony (Justin – deceased).
Dave was a sports enthusiast, a Canucks, Whitecaps and Buffalo Bills fan. With a passion for stats and numbers he loved calculating the sports odds and placing the occasional bet. He enjoyed travelling the world with Justine. He adored each of his nephews and loved playing the silly uncle. He was a Chartered Professional Accountant and spent 21 years working at TELUS. He leaves behind a large circle of family and friends from Newfoundland to B.C.
Memorial will be held Saturday June 16 at 3pm at Henderson’s Funeral Home, 34537 Marshall Rd, Abbotsford, B.C.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Brain Tumour Foundation of Canada.
