STELLARTON – David Gordon Muir, 55, Stellarton, passed away Monday, May 21, 2018 at home.
Born in New Glasgow, he was a son of the late Claude and Mary Agnes (Martell) Muir. David was a long-time employee of MacDonald Brothers Forestry, enjoyed hunting and fishing in his spare time.
Surviving are daughter, Brittany Worthen, Westville; brothers, Hugh (Linda), Stellarton; Richard (Edith), Millbrook; Brian (Carol), Sackville, N.B.; Bruce, New Glasgow; Allister (Darlene), Plymouth; sisters, Alice (Sid) White, Alma; Carol (Randy) Bowden, Edmonton, AB; Shirley Muir, Halifax; Sandra (Danny) Tupper, Anderson’s Mountain; several nieces and nephews.
Besides his parents, he was predeceased by brother, Gerry; sister-in-law, Sharon.
In honor of David’s wishes, his family will celebrate his life privately.
Donations may be made in David’s memory to a charity of choice.
