David George Tucker
Tucker, David:
of Kitchener and formerly of Galt. Passed away on Wednesday, August 9, 2018 at St. Mary’s General Hospital at the age of 74.
Beloved husband of Sharyn and remembered by her daughter, Tryna (Brad) and their family Cayden and Keltyn Curtain. Cherished father of Tanya (Mike), Kevin (Dana) and loved by his beautiful granddaughter Brooklyn. Missed by Yolanda. Dear brother of Gerry and Ken (Carolyn) Tucker.
He was a teacher, Principal and counsellor Dean at St. Jerome, St David, and St. Benedict High Schools. In 2018, he was inducted in the Cambridge (Hespeler) Hall of Fame and Sports Hall of Fame through the Hespeler Shamrock Hockey Team championships. He was an avid hockey player and a big time Montreal Canadian fan!
Sharyn and the family would love to express tremendous and heartfelt thanks to the truly exceptional staff at St. Mary’s General Hospital, Palliative Care Unit, who provided not only exceptional care for my wonderful, amazing, brilliant husband, David George Tucker and also a peaceful and compassionate environment prior to his departure from this planet. Thank you to Dr. Brian Fielder who walked us through this journey. A special thank you to Pastor Dwayne Buhler and members of Hazelglen Alliance Church especially Alice. Thank you to Everyone. Rest in Peace David, May God bless you, Dear.
Sharyn was the love of David’s life, soulmate and best friend. You are loved beyond words.

David’s family will receive relatives and friends at Hazelglen Alliance Church 45 Hazelglen Drive Kitchener, ON N2B 2A5 on Saturday August 18, 2018 from 12:30-1:45pm followed by his funeral service at 2pm. A reception will follow in the church hall. Private cremation has taken place.
As expressions of sympathy, donations to St. Mary’s General Hospital would be appreciated by the family (cards available at the funeral home).
