BRITT, David Frederick
After a courageous battle with cancer, Dave passed away October 27, 2018 at The Carpenter Hospice. Predeceased by his parents Ken and Irene Britt. Loving father of Bradley (Michelle). Beloved partner of Linda Ritchie. Cherished Papa of Katerina and Nicholas. Brother of Bud (Natasha), Dorothy (Pat), Jim (Doreen) and Kathy (Rob). Survived by many nieces and nephews, cousins and extended family members; Paula, Dana, Ryan, Hannah, Myah and the twins. Dave spent 30 years working at Dofasco and 15 years at Canadian Tire. He was a member of Wellington Square United Church and belongs to the Burlington Seniors Centre. He will be dearly missed by Traci’s Tigers. Dave enjoyed woodworking and spending time at the cottage in Restoule, he was an avid and very talented photographer. Cremation has taken place. Memorial Gathering will be held at SMITH’S FUNERAL HOME, 1167 Guelph Line (one stoplight north of QEW), BURLINGTON (905-632-3333), on Friday, November 2nd from 4-7p.m. In lieu of flowers, donations in memory of Dave to The Carpenter Hospice or Joseph Brant Hospital – Oncology Department would be sincerely appreciated. www.smithsfh.com
