August 25, 1931 – July 13, 2018
David was born in Mayfair, London, England. He was educated at Emanuel Public School in London. His career spanned 9 years in the Royal Navy, 23 years with the British Fire Service from Fireman to Deputy Fire Chief, about 2 years as Deputy Fire Chief in Bermuda, and 10 years as Fire Engineer working for Building Consultants in Saudi Arabia, Kuwait and the Philippines. In 1987 David, along with his wife and 2 younger sons, moved to Canada. Once again working for an Engineering Co. until his retirement. He was passionate about his new-found country and home and spent most of his time improving the property and turning it from this little forest into his own little paradise. Always an adventurer, David loved deep sea diving, spear fishing and sailing, as well as the Theatre, travelling and playing cards with family and friends.
David was predeceased by his parents, his twin brother Michael, his uncle Geoffrey and stepmom Kathleen. David leaves behind to mourn him his beloved wife of 36 years Griselda, his sons Abdon, Geoffrey and Paul, his daughters Sally and Julie, his grandchildren and a great grandson.
