David Campbell Dick
November 12, 1945 – June 10, 2018
Passed away peacefully on June 10, 2018 in Port Hope, Ontario. David Dick at 72 years of age. David’s brother Adrian Grant Duff was at his beside along with long time family friend Gladys Magg. Predeceased by his mother Barbara I. Dick and his father David Dick Jr. Survived by his sister Flavia Ormond, brother-in-law John Ormond, relatives Jocelyn Ormond, Emily Cozens, Ursula and David Walker, Richard Boyle, Francesca Fullerton, Penelope Newsome, Andrew and Pam Newman, David and Christine Newman, cousins Bessie and Adelaide and all their respective families. David was a good man, always polite and well mannered, interested in history with a great memory for facts. His great contribution was as a volunteer treasurer for many years for Amnesty International and the Schizophrenia Society in the Cobourg area. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at St. Michael’s Catholic Church on Thursday June 14th at 10 am. Interment to follow at St. Michael’s Cemetery. Reception at the Columbus Community Centre on Spencer Street East following the interment. Those wishing may make a memorial donation to St. Michael’s Church Restoration Fund.
