David « Butch » McEachern

David “Butch” Roderick McEachern, 70, of Falmouth, Hants County, passed away on Saturday, October 13, 2018 in the Hants Community Hospital, Windsor. Born on August 14, 1948 in New Waterford, Cape Breton. He was the son of Roberta McEachern and the late David McEachern.
Butch worked construction and owned various small businesses over the years and was part owner of the Black Bear Tavern in Windsor. Family was everything to Butch and he cherished his time with all his family.
Surviving are his wife, the former Dolly Burrows; sons, Trevor (Brenda), Garlands Crossing; Paul Broussard (Kelly Dunn), Dartmouth; daughter, Cate (Craig) McEachernNeal, New Zealand; grandchildren, Alec, Kyla, Brandon, Angus, Maeve, Blake and Ashton; great-grandson, Zayn; brothers, Frank (Mel), Wayne (Linda), Byron, all of Alberta; Gordie (Dottie), Ontario; Angus (Michelle), Gerry (Ann); George (Jane), Paul “Tuddie” (Brenda) all of New Waterford; sisters, Helena (Bruce) Campagnoni-Guay, Liverpool; Bernadette Leverton, New Waterford; Leah (Myles) Lowe, Dartmouth; many nieces and nephews.
Butch was predeceased by his sister, Carrie Perin.
A private family gathering and burial will be held at a later date.
