OBITUARY
Darren Clyde Reid
23 July , 1965 – 16 April , 2018
REID, Darren Clyde – 52, of Dartmouth passed away on April 16, 2018 at home. Born in Halifax he was the son of Betty L. (Burke) Clubbe. Darren had attended Dartmouth High School and trained as a machinist. He attended NSCAD having a passion for Art especially wood carvings and sculpting. He was quick witted and in tune with the moment and had a tender heart for the broken hearted. He was a sculpter, philosopher and lover of life. Darren will be dearly missed. He is survived by son; Dylan Reid, brother; James Q. (Polly) Reid Jr. III, sisters; Heather Reid, Cheryl (Sean) Vincent, Tracey Reid, niece; Lee-Anne, nephews; Shayne, Mike and Ben. Visitation will be held on Monday, April 23, from 6 – 9pm in A. L. Mattatall Funeral, 217 Portland Street. A Celebration of Life service will be held on Tuesday, April 24, at 1pm in Dartmouth First Church of the Nazerene, 3 Henry Street. Pastor Ralph Yarn officiating. Burial will take place in Mount Hermon Cemetery. No Flowers by request, donations may be made to the Dartmouth First Church of the Nazerene.
