SNYDER, Darcy
Passed away at K-W Campus of Grand River Hospital on Saturday, July 7, 2018 at the age of 66. Beloved husband of Shirley (nee Bechtel) for 46 years. Loving father of Jessica Thier and husband Neil and Trevor Snyder and wife Julia Needham and Papa to Maya and Brendan Thier and Lydia and Michael Snyder. Dearly loved son of Mabel Sauder and her husband Lewis. Brother of Gwen Snyder and husband David Grove, Gail Snyder, Bonnie Snyder and husband Gary Southwell and step-brother of Kate Gotthardt and husband Egan, Renee Sauder and husband Fred Loganbill, and Bev Sauder. Also remembered by Dave Groleau and Evelyn Sauder. Darcy will be fondly remembered by his nieces, nephews and members of the Bechtel family. Predeceased by his father Orville Snyder, brother Tim Snyder, and step-brother Jerry Sauder.
Darcy’s family will receive relatives and friends at the Erb & Good Family Funeral Home, 171 King St. S., Waterloo on Wednesday, July 11, 2018 from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. The funeral service will be held in the Funeral Home Chapel on Thursday, July 12, 2018 at 11 a.m. A reception will immediately follow the service in the funeral home’s Fireside Room.
