Danial “Danny” Henry Maidment, age 61, of Mitchell, passed away peacefully surrounded by his loving family on Friday, December 7, 2018 at Stratford General Hospital. Born in Kitchener, son of the late Albert and Teresa (Campbell) Maidment. Survived by his true love and best friend of 24 years, Debra (Martin) Maidment. Proud and loving father of his daughter Elyse. Danny will be remembered by his siblings; Glenn (Pat) Maidment, Jamie (Julie) Maidment and his brother-in-law Doug (Bette Jean) Martin, along with his many nieces and nephews. Danny was a longtime employee and Plant Manager of Hematite Manufacturing in Guelph before his illness. Friends and relatives may call at the W.G. Young Funeral Home , 430 Huron Street, Stratford on Monday, December 10, 2018 from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. The funeral service will take place at the funeral home on Tuesday, December 11, 2018 at 2:00 p.m. with visitation one hour prior to the service.
