July 18, 1953 – May 2, 2018
Passed away peacefully May 2, 2018 at Salt Spring Island Hospital, BC. Dan (Turt) Shacklady at the age of 64, father of Brett and Drew. Son of the late Ronald and Ruth Shacklady. Beloved brother of Ted & Lynda Shacklady, predeceased by Terry (2013) & Jean Shacklady, Pat Walker, Jim & Pat Shacklady, Dianne & Bryan Whiteside, Mike Shacklady, Lorie & Kevin Thompson, Colleen & Murray Hunter, Sue & Mark Bonke. Turt will be lovingly remembered by his many nieces and nephews, extended family and many friends here and on Salt Spring Island.
Family and friends are invited to share stories and memories of Turt at the Alliston Legion, 111 Dufferin St. S., Alliston on Sunday, May 27, 2018 from 2:30 – 5 p.m. Private family burial Mansfield Cemetery. If so desired memorial donations to Matthews House Hospice would be appreciated.
