Hunter, Dana Edgar – Age 66 of Tatamagouche, passed away Thursday, December 13, 2018 in Lillian Fraser Memorial Hospital, Tatamagouche. Born in Tatamagouche and raised in Malagash and Wallace, he was the son of the late Adrian and Elsie (Allen) Hunter. Dana is survived by his wife, the former Mary Baillie; sons, Seane (Paulina) and his children, Quinn, Athea, Aunix and Jacob; Chancy (Chanda) and their children, Myles, Mason and Memphis; brother, Dean; special aunt, Bonnie Lynn. Dana had a love for the water. He was a fisherman, boat builder, an avid sailor and enjoyed his many trips to the marina. During his retirement, he had a passion for restoring old cars, curling and travelling, especially his trips to Colombia over the past couple of years. Cremation has taken place. A celebration of Dana’s life will be held on Tuesday, December 18 with visitation from noon until time of service at 2 p.m. with Rev. Jacquie Ross officiating. All in Coulter’s Funeral Home, 48 Riverside Dr., Tatamagouche. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations to the Lillian Fraser Memorial Hospital Auxiliary would be appreciated. A special thank you is extended to Dr. Glasgow and the nursing staff for their care and respect given to Dana.
