Cyril Jim James Cooper
August 20, 1928 – November 11, 2018

Beloved husband of Madelyn and predeceased by his first wife Helen (1985).
Dear father of Carol (Rob) Langlois, Nancy (Pat) Perrin and Gary (Louise) Cooper. Proud grandfather of Sandra (Chris), Lexy, Kim (Marcel), Brad (Lucia), Ashley (Patrick) and Amber (Nick). Great grandfather of 10- ¾.
Stepfather of Tom (Sharon), Dave and Sue Dinsmore.
Brother of the late Dorothy Beswick. Brother in-law of John Beswick, Charles Coulter (late June), Barb Webster (late Don) and the late Dan and Marlene Webster.
Also remembered by several nieces and nephews in Windsor, Ottawa and New York.
Jim was a lifelong resident of St. Clair Beach (Tecumseh) and resided in the original home he built with his first wife. He enjoyed woodworking from an early age and worked in the family lumber business for many years prior to retirement. Countless summers were enjoyed at the cottage on Lake Nippising with friend’s family as well as many sailing adventures on Lake St. Clair. An avid reader, Jim especially enjoyed keeping abreast of finances and business ventures.
Jim was a proud 50 year member of the original Windsor Rotary 1918 Club and a founding member of the Windsor Es Probus Club.
The family wishes to express sincere appreciation to the doctors, surgeons and assistants for the care, compassion and patience shown over the past few years. Special thanks to the Windsor Cancer Clinic, Hospice Team and Kelly and Stephanie at Erie St. Clair LIHN. To the many faces from AHH especially Monika, Renate, Toni and Gloria, heartfelt thanks for your dedication. Thank you to the many nurses from Paramed with special thanks to Jennifer.
Visiting will be held on Wednesday November 14, 2018 at the Walter D. Kelly Life Celebration Centre (1969 Wyandotte St. E, Windsor) from 9a.m. until time of service 11a.m officiated by the Salvation Army. Burial at Victoria Memorial Gardens to follow service.
