Obituary for Cyril « Cy » Parkinson
Cyril “Cy” Parkinson, of Kincardine, passed away at the Wingham & District Hospital, on Monday, December 25, 2017 in his 94th year.
Beloved husband of the late Veronica “Vera” Josephine Parkinson (née Kelly).
Cherished father of Kelly (Brad) Scheel of Kincardine and the late Linda Coughlan (2013).
Fondly remembered by grandchildren Ben Scheel (Sarah), Rachel Scheel (Dalton), Chris (Jodi) Coughlan, Tara Coughlan, great-grandchildren Samantha and Riley.
Missed by several nieces, nephews & friends.
Predeceased by his parents John & Mary Parkinson (née Turner), brothers Don Parkinson and Jack (Marjorie) Parkinson.
Family was absolutely everything to him and was always there to help those in need. Cyril was also a long time member of the Masons.
A graveside service will take place in the Kincardine Cemetery, spring 2018 and will be announced at a later date.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations to the Kincardine Hospital Foundation would be appreciated as expressions of sympathy and may be arranged through the Davey-Linklater funeral home, Kincardine.
