Crystal O’Donnell-Schuett
Crystal Lynn O’Donnell-Schuett, age 46 of Swift Current, passed away January 22, 2018 at Clover House in Swift Current. The Celebration of Life service was held at 2:00 p.m., January 27, 2018 at First United Church with Reverend Annette Taylor officiating. The pianist was Joan Williamson and the eulogist was Tracy O’Donnell. The interment service will be held at a later date. The honorary pallbearers were all who shared in Crystal’s life. She is survived by her parents, Larry and Carol O’Donnell; spouse, Brad O’Donnell-Schuett; children, Aaron Schaitel and Austin Schaitel; step-children, Paige Bashutsky and Karli Schuett; grandchildren, Addilyn Schaitel and Keenan Schaitel; brothers, Todd (Amy) O’Donnell (Patrick and Connor) and Michael (Tracy) O’Donnell (Liam and Emily); grandparent, Helen O’Donnell; and by numerous aunts, uncles and cousins. Crystal was predeceased by her grandfathers, Don Colquhoun and Patrick O’Donnell, grandmother, Queenie Colquhoun and aunt, Barb Garrett. Crystal was born on July 4, 1971 in Kindersley SK. She attended school at Cupar SK (high school) and at Great Plains College in Swift Current. She married Brad O’Donnell-Schuett on April 10, 2004 in Swift Current. Crystal was a former member of the Swift Current Lions and was still as active member of Camp Shagabec and the First United Church. Crystal was interested in knitting, baking, scrapbooking and fishing. She loved spending time in Cypress Hills camping, golfing and just relaxing with family and friends. She also loved anything Disney, especially going to both parks. Donations in Crystal’s memory may be made to Camp Shagabec. Warren’s Funeral Home were entrusted with the arrangements.
