VanAndel, Cornelis Roeland
The Lord, at his appointed time, and in the full assurance of faith took home his child, Cornelis Roeland VanAndel to be with Him on May 5, 2018 in his 88th year. A long time resident of Chatham and Harwich Township and an employee of the Public General Hospital, Cornelis was born in Zevenbergen, the Netherlands on September 9, 1930 and immigrated to Canada at the age of 22. Also survived by 21 grandchildren and 22 great-grandchildren. Visitation will be held at CORNERSTONE CANADIAN REFORMED CHURCH, 353 Stonechurch Rd. E., Hamilton on Tuesday from 2-4 p.m. and 7-9 p.m. where a Memorial Service will be held on Wednesday, May 9, 2018 at 11 a.m., Rev. John Louwerse officiating. Reception to follow. A private family interment service will take place at Mt. Hamilton Cemetery prior to the Memorial Service. Donations to Shalom Manor and Gardens, Grimsby would be appreciated by the family.
