Cordell Neville Emerson
EMERSON, Cordell Neville age 54 of Dartmouth, Nova Scotia, passed away March 7th, 2018 at home. Born in Halifax, he was the son of the late Billy and Delores (Emerson) Flynn. He had a passion for drywall construction and was a jack of all trades. He was known to many as “6”or “Big Papa”. He had recently enrolled at NSCC with hopes of pursuing a career in ministry counselling. He loved his dogs, playstation, and life in general.
Survived by his children; Shantia, Shaundelle, and Zachary, and his grandchildren; Kamyriah, Kassius, Zennon, and Azara. He is also survived by brothers; Gino Williams of Barrie, Ontario, Dennis (Tamara) Flynn, Tyrone (Mona) Williams of Toronto, Ontario, sisters; Lana of Toronto, Ontario, Wanda (Tony) Ince; several nieces and nephews, uncles and aunts and cousins who all loved him dearly. He will be greatly missed by Michelle Gillis and her family.
Visitation will be held Wednesday, March 14th, 2018 from 7-9 pm, in Atlantic Funeral Home, 771 Main Street, Dartmouth. A funeral Service will be held Thursday, March 15th, 2018 at 2:00 pm. In Lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Salvation Army or the Heart and Stroke Foundation. Please join the family immediately after the service at 80 Holtwood Court, Rooftop Terrace, Dartmouth.
