Constantine « Gus » Tzanis
Peacefully, surrounded by his daughters at peopleCare
Oakcrossing, on Saturday, December 22, 2018, Gus Tzanis of London in
his 91st year.
Predeceased by his wife Maria (2017). Dear father of Angela
Tzanis-Alushi & Bob Capson of Dorchester and Toula &
her husband John Anagnostou of London and predeceased by a son,
Nicholas Tzanis. Loved by grandchildren Terry & his wife Linda
Walters, Doug Walters, Tony and Chris Anagnostou, and
great-grandchildren Chloe Mia Walters and Austin Constantine
Walters.
Predeceased by his grandson Dino Anagnostou, brothers,
Stylianos, Christos and Nikolas, his sister Marina and his first wife
Anastasia and their son Dimitri.
Fondly remembered by nieces, nephews, cousins, many friends
and patrons.
Immigrating to Canada from Greece in 1954, he was a
successful restauranteur, Delmar, Campus Hi Fi, Honeybee Restaurant
and Irene’s Fish and Chips, just to mention a few. He will be sorely
missed.
Visitation will be held at Logan
Funeral Home, 371 Dundas Street, London, Ontario
(between Waterloo & Colborne St.), on Friday from
7:00 -9:00 p.m. with prayers at 8:00 p.m.
The Funeral Service will be held at Holy
Trinity Greek Orthodox Church, 131 Southdale Rd. W.,
London, Ontario on Saturday, December 29 , 2018 at 10:00 a.m. with
Father Demetre Mouselimis officiating.
Interment in Woodland Cemetery, London,
Ontario.
Those who wish, may make memorial donations to Holy Trinity
Greek Orthodox Church or the Alzheimers Society in memory of
Gus.
A tree will be planted, by the Logan Funeral Home,
as a living memorial to Gus Tzanis.
