Obituary Overview
Conrad Dean Adams
It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Conrad Adams on June 24, 2018, with his loving family by his side. Conrad was born on September 30, 1961 in Prince Albert to Joseph and Delia Adams. He graduated from Carlton High School and began his long career with Bearing and Transmission for over 35 years.
In his early years Conrad enjoyed crazy adventures with life-long friends which included traveling and many summers filled with slow pitch tournaments and travelling overseas. He was always a big sports fan, with the Washington Redskins, Saskatchewan Roughriders, and Toronto Maple Leafs being his favorites. He later became his son’s hockey coach for many years.
Conrad was blessed with two wonderful children, Landon and Rachel, who he loved with all his heart. He was always so proud of them and could not wait to hear about their day or their latest accomplishment. They meant the world to him and we know that he will be forever with them in spirit.
Conrad had the kindest heart, along with a tremendous sense of humor, mixed with a little bit of his mischievous behavior is what made him one of the friendliest guys you could ever meet.
Conrad loved life and lived each day to the fullest. He was blessed with so many talents which included using his carpentry skills to make wooden cars, and sharing his true passion for baking. Never mind the disaster left in the kitchen!
Conrad enjoyed many years at the lake making fun memories with his family around the campfire. He always looked forward to family game nights and kaiser games at holidays.
Conrad was diagnosed with Type 1 Diabetes at the age of 14 and from that day forward he faced life’s challenges with courage, strength and acceptance. In his words “It is what it is”. He was a fighter right until the very end.
Conrad was deeply loved and will be forever missed by his loving son, Landon; and daughter, Rachel; his mother, Delia Adams; his brothers, Blair (Shari) Adams and their children, Logan and Montana, Keith (Eunice) Adams and their daughters, Krista (Dane) Onushko and their son, Asher; and Stacy Adams; and his sister, Charlene (Dan) Luskey and their son, Ashton; as well as many aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.
He was predeceased by his father, Joseph Adams; his grandparents, Mildred & Telesphore Labossiere and Wendilen & Mary Adams.
May we all be comforted knowing his pain and suffering has come to an end and he will continue to live on in our hearts and memories until we meet again.
A Funeral Mass will be held at St. Joseph’s Parish, 260 25 St E, Prince Albert on Thursday, June 28, 2018 at 2:00 p.m. In lieu of flowers donations can be made to the Canadian Diabetes Association at www.diabetes.ca.
