Colleen Lerch, of Hanover, passed away at London Health Sciences Centre- University Hospital, London on Sunday, September 23, 2018. She was 67.
Born on May 17, 1951 in Durham, Ontario to Arthur and Betty (nee Flewelling) Aljoe. Colleen was employed with Exceldor Foods in Hanover as a labourer and enjoyed her retirement in the last two years.
Survived by loving daughter Tracey Lerch of Hanover. Dear daughter of Betty (nee Flewelling) Aljoe of Hanover. Loving sister of Brent (Kathy) Aljoe, Carey Aljoe both of Hanover, Deb McFadden of Wallaceburg, Jayne McAdam of Kincardine, Lisa (Marc) Graham of Brampton and Rhonda Aljoe (Mike Seaward) of Mississauga. Fondly remembered by her nieces, nephews, great nieces and nephews and many extended family members. Predeceased by her father Arthur Aljoe and brother Jeffrey Aljoe.
To honor her wishes, cremation has taken place. A Memorial Gathering will be held at the Royal Canadian Legion – Hanover on Saturday, October 13, 2018 from 1-5 pm. Arrangements entrusted to the Mighton Funeral Home, Hanover.
Memorial donations to the Kidney Foundation or to the Arthritis Society would be appreciated as expressions of sympathy.
