Clifford E. Hansen
1980-2018
It is with heavy hearts, that we
announce the passing of Clifford Earl Hansen. Cliffy,
« Manny », was born on October 27, 1980 in Perth-Andover, New
Brunswick, on a sunny, cold, fall day.
His proud dad announced the arrival of his
« special little
boy », and from that day on we
were blessed with someone who gave us infinite love, acceptance
and fierce
Hansen stubbornness.
Special people in his world include:
his dad, Earl Hansen (d.1987), sisters; Cindy Rasmussen (Reed) of New
Denmark, Cheryl Hansen (Shawn Paulsen) of Fredericton, Cathy Jensen of
Fredericton, his number one bud Stephane Laforge (Laurie) of Grand
Falls, and the most important of all, his beloved mom, Charlotte.
Rounding off his love pack; Lindsey Allain (Justin) of Halifax,
Shannon Rasmussen (Patrick Brennan) of Moncton, Holden Rasmussen
(Ashley Black) of Halifax, Paige Paulsen of Fredericton, Kylie Paulsen
of Fredericton, Matthew Jensen (Ashley Bye) of Fredericton, Lucas
Jensen (Zia Brown) of Fredericton and his newest great nephew, Landon
Jensen.
Cliffy enjoyed life to the fullest
including going on grand adventures with Stephane, being master of his
own space, arranging his favorite things without the « boss »
in the room, directing everyone to his wishes, eating his favorite
snacks including chips and just simply hanging out with mom. He loved
all people and was always happy to meet new ladies. He woke every
morning with a huge smile, ready to embrace the day, and was truly a
testament to the saying « Live in the Moment ».
Cliffs family want to thank the
incredible health care providers over the last few months; Annie
McGrath(NP) and the staff at TVHC-thank you for always being there,
regardless of the day or time, and for your above and beyond support.
Dr. Andre Aucoin, thank you for
your compassion, patience with answering our millions of questions,
and overall care. Thank you to the staff
of Surgery
at the Edmundston Hospital; your understanding and support was
invaluable during these difficult
times.
Resting at St. Ansgar’s Anglican Church, New
Denmark with visiting hours on Friday, March 30th from 6 to 8 p.m. and
Saturday, March 31st from 12:30 to 2 p.m.
His funeral service will be held from the church on Saturday,
March 31st at 2 p.m. with Father Stephen Harnish
officiating. Interment will be in St. Peter’s Lutheran
Cemetery, New Denmark at a later date.
In lieu of flowers, donations to the Grand Falls
Association for Community Living (Centre Dexter Center) will
be accepted by the family.
