A resident of Tilbury, Claude passed away at the Chatham-Kent Hospice on Sunday, January 7, 2018 at the age of 96.
He was the founder of Pearson Bus Sales Ltd. and Claude G. Pearson Busses Ltd.
Born in Comber, and was the son of the late George and Orpha (Whittal) Pearson.
Beloved husband of 73 years to Sophie (Zalger) Pearson of Tilbury.
Dear father of Jim and Brenda Pearson of Wheatley and Rick and Karen Pearson of Brantford.
Proud grandfather of Ryan (Lotje) Pearson of Comber and Andrea (Joey) Giorgi of Windsor.
Loving brother of Bill and Kathleen Pearson of Comber.
Fondly remembered by many nieces and nephews.
Predeceased by his brother Henry (Joy) Pearson and a sister Norma (Alex) Armstrong.
The family will receive friends at the Funeral Home, 459 St. Clair Street, Chatham, ON, on Saturday, January 13, 2018 for 10-11 am, with the Funeral Service following, officiated by Rev. Andrew Martin.
A private family interment will be held in McDowell Cemetery, Comber.
