It is with deep sadness that the family of Clarice
Manuel, (nee Freake), announce her passing at Western Memorial
Regional Hospital, Corner Brook, NL on February 8th, 2018 at the age
of 86 years. Predeceased in 2002 by her husband of 50 years, Randall
Manuel, Clarice leaves to mourn her children Norman (Hazel) of
Kentville, N.S, Ann (Doug Willms) of Fredericton, N.B. and Elizabeth
of Corner Brook, NL, her grandchildren Christopher (Emma), Matthew
(Jennifer), Alison, Maya, Andrew and great grandchildren Cohen, Teagan
and Ryder. The eldest of six daughters, born to Stella and Sidney
Freake of Lewisporte, NL, Clarice also leaves to mourn her five
sisters, Elsie McInnis, Loretta Young, Vera Young (Bill Fry),
Henrietta Tilley (Don) and Beverly Butt (Keith), a large circle of
nieces, nephews and other relatives, extended family and friends. In
keeping with Clarice’s wishes, cremation and internment have
already taken place. In lieu of flowers, donations made in
Clarice’s memory to the Western Memorial Regional Hospital
Palliative Care Unit would be greatly appreciated by the family. The
funeral arrangements have been entrusted to Fillatre’s
