Obituary of Clare Fraser
FRASER, Clarence Dawson Jr. –
In his 78th year, passed away peacefully with his daughter, Gina by his side, following a strong and brief fight with cancer on November 26, 2018 at Freeport Hospital in Kitchener, ON. Predeceased by his parents Clarence Dawson Fraser Sr. and Marion. Survived by his wife Anne Fraser. Clare is also survived by his daughter Gina (Mark) and grandsons Andrew, Matthew and Jacob. Also survived by his stepsons Richard (Pat), Randy, Walter and David and his step grandson, Liam. Clare will be missed by his cousin Leslie and her family, and many friends including his close friend Gord MacRae. Clare spent many years as a school bus driver for Sharp Bus Lines in New Hamburg, a job he enjoyed very much and will be missed by all who knew him there. Clare was a member of the Burford Masonic Lodge and the Brantford Piston Pushers. Clare was also a member of many Pipe Bands where he could share his love of the bagpipes. As he wished, cremation has taken place. At Clare’s request, there will be no visitation or funeral service. Interment of ashes will take place during a private family service in the spring of next year at the place he cherished most in Hekkla, Ontario.
