It’s with heavy hearts, we announce the passing of our mother, Milly Henderson on December 1st in her 94th year. Milly passed away peacefully surrounded by her family. Mom was born and raised in Virden, Manitoba with her two brothers, (Harold & Roy) and two sisters (Hope & Grace) until they moved to Vancouver. She married Wes Henderson on September 2nd 1950 and lived in Vancouver happily with their 2 children. Predeceased by her husband Wes (2002). She is survived by her son Wes (Diane) and daughter Karen (Trevor); her grandchildren Christina (Barry) and grandson Tyler; and her great grandchild Mackenzie. Her life was full and spent raising her family and enjoying life with her many close friends. Our heartfelt thanks to the wonderful and caring staff at Fairhaven, who took such good care of mom in her final years. “When God Leads, I will Follow”.
