Clara « Mickey » Adams (Garnier)
Passed away peacefully with family by her side at The Village of Tansley Woods Retirement Home in Burlington at the age of 95. Predeceased by loving husband Grant Adams (2014). Cherished father of Judith Hilton (Richard) of Burlington, Greg Adams (Jane) of Welland, and Roger Adams (Ann) of Ancaster. Devoted grandmother of Leslie Frazer (Mitch), Brad Hilton (Liz), Brooke Van Beek (Ross), Gregory Adams (Lisa), Jeffrey Adams (Michelle), Krysten Lokmanis (Toms), and Katelyn Murray (Scott). Proud great-grandmother of Joshua, Jordan, Thomas, Fearne, Scarlet, Shannon, Allison, Connor, Victoria, Katie, Feliks, Lornes, Bennett and another on the way. Dear sister of Marie Julian (Chester) and Freddie, Bobby, and David Craig all of Nova Scotia. Mickey will also be missed by many nieces, nephews, cousins, extended family and numerous friends. She will be dearly missed by all who knew her. As per her wishes, private cremation has taken place. Visitation will be held at SMITH’S FUNERAL HOME, 1167 Guelph Line (one stoplight north of QEW), BURLINGTON, 905-632-3333, on Friday, October 12, 2018 from 9:30am until the time of a Service of Remembrance which will begin at 10:30am. Reception to follow at the funeral home. If desired, as an expression of sympathy, donations in Mickey’s memory to a charity of your choice would be sincerely appreciated by the family.
