Claire (Clarice) Tuthill nee Stone
Claire has left us for a well deserved, hard earned rest. She passed away peacefully, surrounded by her family at St. Thomas Elgin General Hospital on Thursday, December 6, 2018 in her 89th year. She is survived by her best friend and husband of 66 years Harold, children Mike (Lezlee), Kim Wilcox(Dave Perry), Blair (Sandra) and Craig (Lise) and a brother Dave Hunt (Lorraine) and many grandchildren and great grandchildren as well as many cousins, nieces and nephews, many in the Stratford area. She was predeceased by two children, Steven and Cathy Shipp (Barry) and brothers Kenneth (Ellen), Robert and Stephen (Cindi). She is the daughter of Clifford and Dorothy Stone (Robinson). Claire is well known in the Aylmer area because of her work in food service, particularly at the Black Angus and her membership in the Kinette Club.
There will be no funeral. A Celebration of Life gathering will be scheduled later. Cremation has taken place. Donations in her memory would be welcomed by the Canadian Cancer Society and the St Thomas Elgin General Hospital. (kebbelfuneralhome.com)
