Forever In Our Hearts
Chester passed away peacefully on Tuesday, June 19, 2018 in Regina at the Santa Maria Senior Citizens Home at the age of 91. Chester was born on February 14, 1927 near Lestock, Saskatchewan (Sec 3, Tp 26, Rng 16, W 2ND) to Stephen and Katalin (Hordos) Mihalicz.
Chester was a School Teacher, a Corrections Worker and a Wood Crafter. Upon retirement, he attended a variety of Craft Shows in Southern Saskatchewan and was always coming up with something new to put in his shows. We used to think that sawdust flowed through his veins.
He was predeceased by his wife Margaret (Poll); daughters Kathleen (Bolley) and Penelope; three sisters Mary, Rose and Matilda; and one brother Steve.
Chester is survived by his two brothers Eugene (Lois) and Rudy (Rose); his four sons Dwight (Donna), grandchildren Christopher ((Shannon), great grandchildren Scarlet and Jade), Michael; Doug (Marie); Matt (Danele); Chester (Tanya), grandchildren Krystal, Riley and Noah; and grandsons Danny and Kelley Bolley.
A GRAVESDE SERVICE will be held at Regina Funeral Home and Cemetery, 4001 East Victoria Avenue, Regina, SK on Friday, August 10, 2018 at 2:00 p.m. a family gathering will follow after the service.
