TAPLAY, Cheryl (née Nicholson) – Mrs. Cheryl Taplay at the Cornwall Community Hospital – McConnell Site on Monday May 28, 2018 at the age of 67 years. Beloved wife of 51 years to Robert (Bob) Taplay. Loving mother of Kimberlee Taplay, Kyle Taplay (Bhavna), and late Stephanie Hooker, grandmother of Justin, Michael, Taylor, Avery and Teghvir, and great-grandmother to Isabelle. Loved daughter of the late Alvin and Edith (née Gordon) Nicholson. Dear sister of Stuart Nicholson (Carol). Predeceased by her brothers Lennon (Shirley), Bruce (Helen), and Darrell (late Sylvia). Cheryl had a profound love for children and gave her heart to them throughout her life. Resting at the Wilson Funeral Home 822 Pitt Street, Cornwall where visitation will be held on Friday from 7-9 PM, and Saturday 12 Noon – 1:45 PM. Funeral service will be held in the chapel of the Wilson Funeral Home on Saturday June 2, 2018 at 2:00 PM.
