Obituary for Cheryl Robinson
Surrounded by family on Tuesday, April 10, 2018 at St. Joseph’s Hospice in Sarnia, Cheryl Lynn Robinson (nee Ast), passed away at the age of 70. Beloved wife to Leslie “Gomer” for 50 years. Loving mother to April (Paul) Addison, Barb Robinson, Daniel Robinson, and Julie Robinson. Proud grandma to Jacob Addison. Dear sister to Janine Beland (Ast) and sister-in-law to Maureen Ast. Predeceased by her parents Adam and Ella Ast, in-laws Glen and Ileen Robinson, infant sister Sharon Joy, and brothers Gary Ast and Terry Ast. Cheryl will be dearly missed by her nieces, nephews, cousins and a wide circle of friends. Cheryl loved being outdoors, camping, gardening and was a long-time dedicated volunteer with the Brigden Moore Society. She was a kid at heart, a bit of a prankster, and always went out of her way to make people smile and laugh. Les and Cheryl were inseparable for over 50 years, were devoted to their family and created a loving home for each and every one of their children. Visitors will be received by the family on Friday, from 2-4pm and 6-8pm at the Needham-Jay Funeral Home, 4059 Petrolia Line, Petrolia, where a funeral service will be held on Saturday, April 14, 2018 at 1pm. Interment in Hillsdale Cemetery. As an expression of sympathy, memorial donations may be made by cheque to St. Joseph’s Hospice (www.stjosephshospice.ca), or Canadian Cancer Society (www.cancer.ca).
