Charlotte Josephine Parry (nee Loucks)
Born October 21, 1942, passed away surrounded by the unending love of her family, after a brief illness on July 30, 2018. Daughter of Edgar Horatio and Helen Bessie Loucks of Russell, ON. Beloved wife of Michael Elwyn Parry for 53 years. Cherished mother of daughter Gwyneth (Perry Harkin) of Ottawa, ON and David Parry (Nina) of Central Saanich, BC. Proud grandmother of Emerson Harkin (Rachel Urban-Shipley) and Ella and Aidan Parry. Predeceased by her parents of Edgar Horatio and Helen Bessie Loucks of Russell, ON. and brother Glendon. Charlotte graduated as an RN from the Ottawa Civic Hospital in 1963. Member of the Girl Guides of Canada since 1982. Member of the Goulbourn Jubilee Singers for 19 years. Member of IODE Walter Baker Chapter since 2008.
Friends may pay respects at the Capital Funeral Home & Cemetery, 3700 Prince of Wales Drive, 613-692-1211, Saturday, August 25, 2018 after 2 p.m. A Celebration of Charlotte’s Life will follow in the Chapel at 3 p.m. Refreshments will follow in the funeral home.
