Charles Stephen « Charlie »
Lockhart – 65, of Liberty Lodge, Berwick, formerly of New
Minas, passed away Saturday, January 27, 2018 at home. Born in
Kentville, he was a son of the late William and Myrtle (Floden)
Lockhart. He is survived by two sisters, Rosanne Richards and Esther
(Kevin) Bradley, both of New Minas; four brothers, Cecil (Mary),
Archie, Eric and Keith, all of New Minas; nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held from 6-8 p.m. Tuesday, January 30, 2018 in the
White Family Funeral Home, Kentville. Visitation will also be held
from 10 a.m. until the time of the funeral service and reception at
11:00 a.m. Thursday, February 1, 2018 in the White Family Funeral
Home, Kentville, Mr. Wayne Hutchison and Mr. Wayne van den Dries
officiating. Burial will take place in the Canard Burial Ground,
Canard, Kings County. Donations in memory may be made to the Canadian
Mental Health Association or Liberty Lodge. Funeral arrangements have
been entrusted to the White Family Funeral Home and Cremation
Services, Kentville.
