Charles Reginald “Reg” Harris, of Fairhill Lodge in St. Marys, passed away at Stratford General Hospital on October 25, 2018 at the age of 91.
68 year member and Past Worshipful Master of Doric Corinthian Lodge #569, and life-long member of Browns United Church.
Beloved husband of Marion E. (Palmer, deceased 1996) and Shirley (Birch-Hodgson, deceased 2013). Dear father of Sheila and Keith Banister, Brenda and Ted Ingram and Brian and Tammy Harris, all of St. Marys. Grandfather of Becky (Hugh), Jeffrey (Chris), Karen (Josh), Steve (Candice), Nicole, Amanda, Tanner, and Cassidy. Great-grandfather of Alexander, Hudson, James, Dylan, Destiny, Keira, Carter, Aliya. Brother of Mary and Burns Holden and brother-in-law of Bonnie Boland. Reg will be also missed by Shirley Hodgson’s children Brian (Therese), Barbara Moffatt (Pat) and their families.
Predeceased by siblings Norma Taylor (Robie), Jack and brother-in-law of Kenneth and Reta Jeffrey, Glen and Evelyn Palmer, and Stuart Palmer.
Visitation at the Andrew L. Hodges Funeral Home, 47 Wellington St. S. St. Marys (519-284-2820) on Sunday, Oct. 28, 2018 from 2 – 4 & 7 – 9 p.m. with a Masonic Service at 6:45 pm. The Funeral Service will be conducted at the funeral home on Monday, Oct. 29, at 11 a.m. Interment in Lakeside Cemetery on the Hill.
