DIMOPOULOS, Charalambos (Harry)
Born February 10, 1920 and passed away peacefully on May 14, 2018 in Vancouver. It is with great sadness that our family announces the passing of our beloved Harry. He was born in Spilia, Kiparissia and was one of 10 siblings. He will be truly missed by his daughter Mandy, grandchildren Bobby, George, Silvie and Sophia. Sons-in-law Christos and Dimitri. Harry was a simple man who loved fishing, baking papou bread, tzourekia, growing his tomatoes and walking for many hours a day. Predeceased were his daughter Evelyn and his loving wife of 60 years Sophia, who just passed away on March 10, 2018. It gives us great comfort to know they are all together in Heaven forever. May his memory be eternal. Prayers will be held on Thursday, May 24 at 7:00 p.m. at St. George’s Greek Orthodox Cathedral, 4500 Arbutus Street, Vancouver, where funeral services will be held on Friday, May 25, at 10:00 a.m. Rev.
