Died suddenly at her home on July 19, 2018, Catherine Murphy (nee Nolander) in her 83rd year, daughter of the late Frank and Philomena Nolander. Catherine was predeceased by the love of her life, husband Gerry (Turk) in 2017, her sisters Mary and Ethnea, her brothers Reg, Fred and Aiden. Leaving to mourn her loss are daughter Susan Quinn (Todd), sons Fred and Gerry; grandchildren Robyn Moffatt (Grant), Amy Murphy and Adam Murphy; great granddaughter Sophie (Moffatt); sister Monica O’Brien (Martin, deceased), brother Ron Nolander; sister in law Eileen Nolander, brother in law Fred Murphy ( Elizabeth), sister in law Mary Bushdorf (Robert), numerous nieces, nephews and a large circle of extended family. Cremation has taken place. Resting at Caul’s Funeral Home, LeMarchant Rd. Visitation on Sunday from 2 pm – 4 pm and 7 pm – 9 pm. Funeral Mass to take place on Monday, July 23, 2018 at 10 am from Mary Queen of Peace Church. Inurnment to follow at Holy Sepulchre Cemetery. Flowers gratefully accepted or donations in Catherine’s memory can be made to Quintessential Vocal Ensemble.
