Peacefully, with family by her side at Grey Bruce Health Services, Southampton, on Saturday, September 29, 2018 in her 86th year. Kay, loving wife of Harry Ruetz and the late Elgin Currie. Beloved mom of Lee, James and his wife Grace, Kathy (Jamie), Karen and her late partner George Faulkner, and the late son Brian and his wife Susan. Proud gramma of Tammy, Mark (Brianna), Garret (Brittany), Steve (Leann), Hannah, Madelyn, Kyle, Konner, and the late Erin. Great gramma of Mychal, Brittany, Mason, Mitchell, Gracie, Brooke, Landon, Kate, and Griffin. Beloved step mother of Debbie and her friend Biernie, Trudy and her husband Mike Cowie, Jeff Ruetz and his friend Trish, and Allen Ruetz. Loved step grandma to Chris (Alesha), Joleen (Jessie), Melissa (Simon), Rebecca, Amy, Josh and step great grandma to eleven. Dear sister of Bruce MacPherson and his wife Grace, and sister-in-law of Grace MacPherson, Norman Campbell, and Mervin Catto. Predeceased by her brothers Stuart, Eoin, and Angus, sisters Eva, Jean, and Marguerite, brother-in-law Grant Begg, and sister-in-law Helen.
A celebration of Kay’s life will be held on Thursday, October 4th, 2018 at 1:00pm at the Underwood Community Centre, 1240 Concession 6, Tiverton. Interment will follow at a later date.
