Catherine Anne Morris
It is with heavy hearts that the family of Catherine (Kaye) Anne Morris (LeBlanc), age 85, of Sackville N.S. announce her passing at the Halifax Infirmary with her grandson at her side.
Born in Minudie, July 17, 1932, she was daughter of the late Murray and Grace (Burke) LeBlanc.
Nan loved her bingo and was a long-time member of the Sackville 50+ Club.
She is survived by her siblings, Darrell LeBlanc, Garnet LeBlanc, Donna Butler, Carol Ann Droesbeck, Susan Smith, Randy (Kim) LeBlanc; children, Trudy Latour, Donalda Luciano (Stephen), Gail Morris, Bonnie Gillis (Mike); daughter in law, Glenda Leblanc; son in law, Mitch Latour; grandchildren, Shannon O’Shea (Chris), Guy Latour, Barry Luciano(Kim), Brian Luciano(Shauna),Bradley Morris, Angela Miller (Chris); and the Loves of her life, great- grandchildren, Ella, Mya, Kayden, Ruby, Morgan, and Michael.
Besides her parents, Catherine was predeceased by her husband Donald Morris in 2001; brothers, Jack, Curtis and Lawrence; and son Wayne LeBlanc.
The family would like to thank all of her caregivers at Northwood Terrace and all of the medical staff at the Halifax Infirmary.
Visitation will take place at Atlantic Funeral Home Sackville Chapel on Sunday 21st January, 2018 from 2-4 pm and 6-8 pm. Funeral Service will be held at St. John Vianney Parish on Monday 22nd January, 2018 at 1:30 pm. Burial to take place at a later date.
