Obituary of Carol Falcioni
FALCIONI, Carol Louise (nee Barnes) of Port Colborne passed away peacefully on December 21, 2018 in her 73rd year after a courageous battle with cancer. Loving wife of Edward Falcioni, and dear mother of Cheryl (Paul) and Russell. Fun-loving grandmother to Evan and Duncan. Devoted sister to Ted (Claudia) Barnes, Robin (Mary) Barnes, Irene (Dick) Ryerse, Janice (Gaetan) Morin, Kathy (late Gaetan) Tremblay and Nancy (Barry) Matthews. Carol is also survived by many cherished nieces and nephews. Carol was pre-deceased by her son David Falcioni, her parents Thomas Henry and Dora Barnes and by her sister Irene Ryerse.
Carol lived most of her life in Port Colborne where she was content to sit in her peaceful backyard watching the birds and her stargazer lilies grow. She was a true lover of life and its simple joys! There will be no visitation as Carol was gifted precious time for great visits with family and friends. To all those who visited, checked in, drove her to appointments, and supported the family to the very end, we love and appreciate you more than we can express. Special thanks to Dr. Salib, Jade and Tracy from St. Elizabeth, Dr. Scher, and Robin and Aaron and the entire staff at Port Colborne Hospital for their extraordinary care and compassion.
Arrangements entrusted to the ARMSTRONG FUNERAL HOME & CHAPEL, 179 Clarence Street, Port Colborne. Cremation has taken place and there will be no visitation or service. In lieu of flowers, donations to a charity of your choice or to the Port Colborne Hospital would be greatly appreciated.
