Obituary of Caroline Carthew
Passed away peacefully with her husband by her side on May 7, 2018 in her 75th year at the Port Colborne Hospital. Beloved wife of Jim, and loving mother of Dianne Ryan (Harry), Star Lynn (Wayne VanAlstine), Len Carthew (Sylvie) and Bob Carthew (Debbie). Loving grandmother of Tyler, Ryan, Alisha, Ashley and Keaton. She will be missed by her beloved best friends Isabel (Izzy) and Jeanne. Predeceased by her parents Archibald & Eileen Gardner, by her sister Sharon Rena, and by her brothers Robert & Thomas Gardner. The family would like to express their gratitude to the Port Colborne Hospital – 2 West for their care and compassion.
Arrangements entrusted to the ARMSTRONG FUNERAL HOME & CHAPEL, 179 Clarence Street, Port Colborne. Memorial Service will be held at the Wainfleet Congregational Christian Church, 10611 Highway # 3, Wainfleet on Friday at 7:00 p.m.
If so desired, memorial donations may be made to the Welland & District Humane Society.
