Obituary for Caroline « Carrie » White (Shawanoo)
Caroline « Carrie » Shawanoo White passed peacefully into the arms of her Saviour on Wednesday, January 3, 2018 after celebrating her 75th Birthday on Tuesday at her residence in Kettle & Stony Point.
The beloved wife of Ralph White (2011) and cherished mother of Adam (Michelle) and Crystal. Carrie is predeceased by daughter Yvonne (1991).
Loving Grandmother of 12 Grandchildren, 20 Great Grandchildren and many nieces and nephews. Carrie is predeceased by her parents, Edgar and Cecelia Shawanoo as well as her siblings and 1 Great Grandchild.
Carrie was loved and will be deeply missed by all those whose hearts she touched. A vibrant church family member at Victorious Faith Fellowship Church, Carrie’s faith and love for her Saviour was lived well and lived out in family and community. She fought the good fight and finished the course.
A private family visitation will take place on Friday, January 5th with a wake service taking place at 7pm at the Kettle & Stony Point Community Centre. A public visitation taking place at the Kettle & Stony Point Community Centre on Saturday, January 6th from 2pm-4pm with a wake service at 7pm.
A Home Going service celebrating the life of Carrie will take place at the Community Centre on Sunday, January 7th at 1pm with Pastor Murray Shawnoo officiating. Interment to take place at the Kettle & Stony Point Cemetery, with a reception to follow at the community centre.
